Role: UX Design, Reaserch
In line with the company's strategy to expand the creator ecosystem, we defined the driving force behind the target creator segment's continued activity using the Hook Model framework. Based on this, this project designed a dashboard experience that allows creators to intuitively understand their own growth and profit status, thereby laying the foundation for motivation and continued participation.
Operation Side — Production increased due to the switch to open creators, but key creators were leaving.
In 2024, Today's House converted the existing closed creator program to an open structure in order to respond to the rapidly growing creator economy market. As a result, the participation pool and content production expanded in a short period of time, but as the number of cherry picker users solely for the purpose of obtaining rewards increased, new problems were revealed.
“The proportion of cherry pickers in new content production is increasing, and the quality of content relative to marketing costs is decreasing.”
“There are a lot of channels that need to be managed to run the program, so the operational burden is high.”
“There are increasing voices from existing core creators about fairness in profit distribution.”
Customer Side — The activity program is easy andAlthough it became more diverse, there was not enough information for the next activity.
Activity programs have increased and opportunities for participation have become more diverse. However, there was a lack of information that allowed creators to check the performance of their activities at a glance. As the reactions and influence of the content were spread all over the place, it was difficult to judge what we were doing well and what we should do next. Therefore, it was difficult to maintain a continuous motivation for activity.
“There are many programs such as reviews and monetization, but it is cumbersome to have to check participation status and conditions one by one through KakaoTalk.”
“I want to check the response indicators of my content before uploading it.”
“I want to know how helpful my review was.”

01 Trigger: First production experience for archival purposes
After creators finish moving and decorating their homes, they begin creating content for personal records and organization purposes. 71% of the first production occurred at My Home.
However, content reactions were only shared through one-time notifications, and there was no function to check the performance of each content within the app. There was no way to check how people reacted to my content or how helpful it was.
02 Variable Reward: Qualitative response and economic reward
After the first production, psychological rewards such as likes and scraps and practical reward programs such as sponsorships and reviews serve as motivation for reproduction.
The problem was how to participate. Because the structure requires individuals to participate in the program through KakaoTalk, DM, etc., they are unable to recognize or participate in the new program at all.I felt like it was a hassle.

01 Content Performance Analysis Dashboard:
Reactions such as likes, scraps, and comments were aggregated by day and achievement, so that they could be checked directly through notifications, pushes, and dashboards. Thanks to this, creators can feel in real time how helpful their content was to others and receive qualitative satisfaction.
02 Creator Fund Integrated Board:
We gathered together the scattered creator support programs into a fund integration board. Through a score-based participation structure and reward dashboard, we provided creators who create quality content with priority participation opportunities and the convenience of profit management.

01 Step-by-step high-performance content notification:
Previously, single-shot notifications were sent repeatedly, creating a lot of noise. So, we changed the structure to sending high-performance notifications only when certain performance standards are achieved. So that creators can clearly recognize their achievements and more effectively strengthen their motivation to produce content.
The actual push message sent was like this.
"'Crockery Collector's Dinner Table Record...' photo clipping reached 50 times! — Check back now to see the photo that inspired many people."
"100 people have viewed the product in Binharu's photo! — The product Binharu shared is receiving a lot of views."

02 Notification setting flow:
In the flow of re-checking high-performing content, we created a path that naturally leads to the dashboard. Creators repeatedly useSo that you can naturally learn the existence and role of the dashboard during the process.

After deploying the feature, we compared and analyzed the content activities of experienced and inexperienced dashboard users in a time series. In the month after launch, the total number of producers increased by 13% and the number of new content increased by 25%. In particular, we were able to see a significant increase in production in the inactive user segment that had not created content in the previous 30 days, and even the effect of eliciting re-participation.
